He is Risen, Alleluia!  Alleluia!

"There is no death of the soul. There is life immediately after physical death--life beyond the veil, be it Heaven, the Kingdom of your God, purgatory, or banishment forever in hell, the abode of the damned.
"The false theory of the non-existence of life after death is only proposed to bring about the fall of man. For if man believes there is no life, he will disport himself in all manner of sin and abominations. There is discipline from the beginning of time asked, and there are rules to be followed, My children. It is the way of Heaven, but it is a simple way."
- Jesus, June 9, 1979

An Easter meditation from The Liturgical Year by Abbot Dom Guéranger, O.S.B.

He is risen: He is not here! The Corpse, laid by the hands of them that loved their Lord, on the slab that lies in that cave, is risen; and, without removing the stone that closed the entrance, has gone forth, quickened with a life which can never die. No man has helped Him. No prophet has stood over the dead Body, bidding it return to life. It is Jesus Himself, and by His own power, that has risen. He suffered death, not from necessity, but because He so willed; and again, because He willed, He has delivered Himself from its bondage. O Jesus! Thou, that thus mockest death, art the Lord our God! We reverently bend our knees before this empty tomb, which is now forever sacred, because, for a few hours, it was the place of Thy abode. Behold the place where they laid Him! Behold the winding-sheet and bands, which remain to tell the mystery of Thy having once been dead! The angel says to the women: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified! The recollection makes us weep. Yes, it was but the day before yesterday that His Body was carried hither, mangled, wounded, bleeding. Here, in this cave, from which the angel has now rolled back the stone--in this cave, which His presence fills with a more than mid-day brightness--stood the afflicted Mother.  It echoed with the sobs of them that were at the burial, John and the two disciples, Magdalen and her companions. The sun sank beneath the horizon, and the first day of Jesus' burial began. But the prophet has said: 'In the evening weeping shall have place; and in the morning gladness' (Psalm 29:6). This glorious, happy morning has come, O Jesus! and great indeed is our gladness at seeing that this same sepulchre, whither we followed Thee with aching hearts, is now but the trophy of Thy victory! Thy precious wounds are healed! It was we that caused them; permit us to kiss them. Thou art now living, more glorious than ever, and immortal. And because we are resolved to die to our sins, when Thou wast dying in order to expiate them, Thou willest that we, too, should live eternally with Thee; that Thy victory over death should be ours; that death should be for us, as it were for Thee, a mere passage to immortality, and should one day give back, uninjured and glorified, these bodies which are to be lent for a while to the tomb. Glory, then, and honor and love, be to Thee, O Jesus! who didst deign not only to die, but to rise again for us!

"In the general resurrection of all souls and bodies, My Son shall take the bones and rise them up, knitting them and uniting them, and placing upon them incorruptible flesh, for death will be conquered. Pain shall be no more. Sin shall be no more. Joy will abound. Charity will abound--goodness, mercy, kindness, and all the goodness created by the Eternal Father." - Our Lady of the Roses, August 5, 1975

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ as described by Veronica Lueken

Veronica - Now I see five soldiers. They have on short dresses, but with metal sections coming down from the waist. And over their heads are metal hats, silver-colored metal hats that cut down to a V-shape on their foreheads. They're standing there by the rock with long spears in their hands.
Now they are going back; they're walking backwards in fright. They are frightened! They're walking backwards, because there's a great light; it's seeping through the cracks. There's a great light. It's seeping through the cracks, and the light is pushing, pushing the rock forward. Now the rock is going over; the light is forcing the rock over to the side. The soldierstwo are running, running up the hill. One is covering his face with his arms. He can't look, the light is so bright.
Now coming through the light are two large figures. Beautiful! Very large. Beautiful! Oh, they are angels. I can't see their faces, but theiroh, they are so large! Now one is standing there. He's raising his hand. He says: "He is risen!"
Now two soldiersone now is getting up; he's running. And the other one is sitting there; he's fallen to the ground in shock. Oh! Inside the cave it's very bright, very bright.
I see now . . . the armoh, I see it, an arm. Oh! That slabit has the cloth lying on the slab . . . . And walking out through this tremendous lightit's Jesus. Oh! He's now coming out of the light, though; He's not glowing, like inside the light by the cave.
Now He's coming out, and He's got slippers on His feet. And He now has a robe on Him; it's white. It's very soiled looking, but it's a white robe. And I notice these bandages are hanging from the slab, the rock, onto the ground. The ground is dirt, dirt; it's just dirt on the ground inside the cave. I can see now, because the light now has left the cave. And Jesus now has started to walk. He's going up the hill; He's walking very slowly up the hill.

Mary Magdalene at the tomb

And nowoh, there's a lady; she's coming down to the side of the cave. And she's looking in, and now she says, "Oh!" And she runs over now, and she's picking up the pieces of the cloth. And she's looking around the cave, and she's running out now.
And she's running up the hill. And she's running overoh, "Where have they taken Him? They have stolen Him from us." And shenow she's reaching out, and she's fallen down on her knees and saying: "Please! Where is He?" Now

Jesus - "Don't . . . do not place your hands upon My garments. I have not ascended in the Father."

Veronica - Now the lady is looking up, and she's smiling. And now Jesus is placing His hand over her head, and He says:

Jesus - "Go, Mary, and tell all what you have seen."

Veronica - Now Jesus is walking; He's climbing up the hill. And Mary now isshe's fallen on her face, just like she's praying. Nonow she's getting up, and she's running down the hill. And I can see hershe's running down the hill now, and she's running towards these buildings. There are one, two . . . five buildings. They don't look like regular buildings; they look like houses made from clay, or like a hut, sort of like clay. And now she's running into one.

Tell us Mary, thou our herald be,
What in passing thou didst see?
"Empty tomb, where Christ, now living, lay,
Angels saw I in bright array,
Shroud and vesture loosely cast aside
Prove clear: He is risen glorified."
(Sequence, Easter Sunday)
