We are greatly disappointed by several Fatima experts who have cast aside two key historical documents directly related to the REAL Third Secret of Fatima. Without the guidance of Our Lady of the Roses message, these Fatima experts have cast aside crucial information that would point to the content of the authentic Third Secret, and have started promoting erroneous personal conjecture.

Two great errors of several Fatima experts include (1) their complete rejection of the Neues Europa “Third Secret” released in 1963, and (2) their rejection of the letter of Mother Godinho to Pope Pius XII.  We consider it our obligation to draw our readers' attention to these two facts, and why they are so important.

Jesus tells us, "Man's judgment can always err, especially when he discounts the knowledge of the supernatural." (September 14, 1985) Some Fatima experts have rejected the Neues Europa Third Secret and Mother Godinho's letter because of extraneous material within these two documents. They have made an error in judgment, called the fallacy of exclusion (picking and choosing the evidence for one's case, and neglecting the evidence against it). They have made a judgment without sufficient information, and have fallen into error.

With insights from Our Lady of the Roses message, we have arrived at different conclusions concerning these two documents.

 

1) FACT: Cardinal Ottaviani affirmed that the Neues Europa Third Secret fundamentally "corresponds to the truth".

On October 1, 1963, Louis Emrich published what was reported to be an excerpt of the “Third Secret” in the German review Neues Europa.  Many Fatima experts have rejected this Neues Europa “Third Secret” as false, as they consider the text too long.  This is known as the logical fallacy of exclusion, when an erroneous conclusion is made by going beyond what the available facts merit. If it is true that the real Third Secret is approximately 26 lines in length, then the Neues Europa “Third Secret” would be too long. But that does not bar the possibility that within the Neues Europa “Third Secret” are lines from the REAL Third Secret, and that does not bar the possibility that extraneous material was added to the Neues Europa “Third Secret", thus explaining the excessive length.  These Fatima experts have thrown out the baby with the bath water, so to speak. And we know this with the help of Our Lady of the Roses message.

Two interesting facts surround the publication of the Neues Europa “Third Secret.” The first is a statement made by Louis Emrich on November 1, 1963:

“The most important part, the quintessence of the revelations of the Mother of God was unavailable to us. In this case it concerns words of the Holy Virgin predicting events which will take place at Rome and which will happen to the Vatican and the papacy at the dawn of day J, when humanity will be delivered to the divine chastisement. The passage related to it, and which forms the basis and conclusion of the third prediction of Fatima, was integrally detached from it and remains a state secret of the Vatican, until a new order is given.”

Most Fatima experts haven’t a clue what to make of this “Day J” reference, and so they say nothing. Keep in mind for the moment that within the Vatican’s June 26, 2000 document, no date was given.  We will come back to this point later.

Cardinal Ottaviani

The second interesting fact concerning the Neues Europa “Third Secret” is that in 1971, the Fatima expert Father Messias Dias Coelho said that he was hesitant to reject the Neues Europa “Third Secret” as false, for two reasons:

“The affirmation recently made to me by an eminent Cardinal, whose name we will keep secret for the moment. According to him, the text in question contains some exaggerations (which we had already noted in 1964), but fundamentally it corresponds to the truth. 2. The fact that the central nucleus of the text in question, as moreover everybody recognizes, is the prediction of a future climate of division within the Church, a prophecy which was unbelievable eight years ago (the publication of Neues Europa dates from 1963), but is a reality today!” (Mensagem de Fatima, No. 86, September-October, 1971)

The “eminent Cardinal” was Cardinal Ottaviani, who gave the endorsement of the article in the German publication Neues Europa in 1963.  According to Father Messias Dias Coelho, Cardinal Ottaviani said that the Neues Europa Third Secret fundamentally “corresponds to the truth.”  Regarding to the text printed by Neues Europa, Cardinal Ottaviani reportedly exclaimed, “Publish 10,000 copies! Publish 20,000 copies! Publish 30,000 copies!” (personal testimony of Msgr. Corrado Balducci. This fact is also attested to by Marco Tosatti in his book Il Secreto Non Svelato, (The Secret Not Revealed), Edizioni Piemme Spa, Casale Monferrato, Italy, May 2002, p. 86).  Cardinal Ottaviani read the REAL Third Secret, as he himself affirmed on February 11, 1967, during a press conference at the time of a meeting of the Pontifical Marian Academy in Rome:
 

“I, who have had the grace and the gift to read the text of the Secret—although I too am held to secrecy because I am bound by the Secret…” (The Whole Truth About Fatima, Vol. III, Brother Michel of the Holy Trinity, p. 727).
 

Cardinal Ottaviani read the REAL Third Secret, so his statements bear extreme weight.

On October 16, 1978, the newspaper L’Osservatore della Domenica ran an article by a Vatican prelate, Msgr. Corrado Balducci, a clerk in the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.  He wrote that a text reportedly containing the Third Secret “was reprinted by Neues Europa, which published it at Stuttgart on October 15, 1963.”  Msgr. Balducci then went on to quote from the Neues Europa Third Secret at length (see The Whole Truth of Fatima, Vol. III, Brother Michael of the Holy Trinity, pp. 657-659).  Why would a Vatican prelate give such great credence to the Neues Europa Third Secret, unless he knew that at least part of this Neues Europa Third Secret was genuine?

We will now reprint a pertinent part of the Neues Europa “Third Secret”, and compare it to Our Lady of the Roses message. The bolded part of the text below are lines that we believe are authentic lines from the REAL Third Secret of Fatima. Bracketed numbers represent how many times similar lines are repeated in Our Lady of the Roses message:

“Humanity has not developed as God desired. Mankind has been sacrilegious and has trampled underfoot the gifts of God.
     “No longer does order reign anywhere. Even in the highest places Satan reigns and directs the course of events. Satan will succeed in infiltrating into the highest positions in the Church [32+]. Satan will succeed in sowing confusion in the minds of scientists who will design weapons that can destroy great portions of mankind in a few minutes. Satan will gain hold of heads of nations and will cause these destructive weapons to be mass-produced.
     “If mankind will not oppose these evils, I will be obliged to let fall My Son's arm. If the chief rulers of the world and of the Church will not actively oppose these evils, I will ask God My Father to visit His Justice upon mankind. Then will God punish mankind even more severely and harshly than He did at the time of the great Deluge. The great and powerful will perish along with the lowly and weak.
     “A time of very severe trial is also coming for the Church. Cardinals will oppose Cardinals and Bishops will oppose Bishops. Satan will enter into their very midst [24+]. In Rome also, there will occur great changes. What is rotten will fall, and what falls must not be retained [73]. The Church will be obscured, and all the world will be thrown into great confusion....
     “Fire and smoke will fall from heaven, and the waters of the ocean will turn to steam, throwing their foam to the very sky. Whatever is standing will be overturned. Millions of people will die. Those surviving will envy the dead [19]. Distress, misery and desolation will be found the world over.
     “The time is drawing near, and the abyss is ever deepening. There will be no escape: the good will die with the wicked [8], the great with the lowly, the princes of the Church with the faithful, the rulers of the nations with their people. Death will reign everywhere, raised to triumph by erring men, the helpers of Satan who will be the masters of the earth. These evils will come at a time when no one expects it: nevertheless it must come as punishment and revenge in accordance with God's plan.
     “The age of ages is coming, the end of all ends if mankind will not repent and be converted, and if this conversion does not come from rulers of the world and of the Church. Woe and greater woe to mankind if conversion does not occur.”

What is also greatly significant is the fact that the true apparitions of Our Lady of Akita, Japan (approved in 1984 by Bishop Ito as genuinely supernatural in origin), similarly states: "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops." Consider this: if the Neues Europa version of the Third Secret was entirely false, what are the odds that a purely contrived message would state almost exactly the same words also contained in two future Marian apparitions (Akita and Our Lady of the Roses)?

Our Lady of the Roses told Veronica on April 29, 1992:

"I gave Lucy the Revelation as a temporary secret—as I revealed [the Third Secret] to you on two occasions. Make a concerted effort to bring its entirety to Our children on earth. The hierarchy have not listened to My counsel—thirty-two years lost in indecision and fear of exposure. The Faith is shattered for many." 

From this message, Our Lady may be implying by the words “its entirety” that some of the Third Secret has already been revealed, and this we believe to be true in the Neues Europa “Third Secret.”

 

2) FACT: Mother Godinho mentions the year 1972 in her letter to Pope Pius XII concerning Jacinta and the REAL Third Secret.

Mother Godhinho cared for Jacinta of Fatima, one of the three children, in her final illness. In 1954, Mother Godinho wrote a letter to Pope Pius XII in which she specifically mentions the year 1972. Unfortunately, most Fatima experts reject this letter as well. True, there are many inconsistencies in the letter, but this does not bar the possibility that Mother Godinho was told the REAL Third Secret. As Our Lady of the Roses message tells us, Mother Godinho was told the Third Secret by Jacinta, but did not faithfully transmit it, as she had been instructed. The year “1972” mentioned in Mother Godinho’s letter is one of the few authentic traces of the REAL Third Secret that Mother Godinho actually put in her letter to Pope Pius XII.  Mother Godinho's letter to Pope Pius XII truly exists and is currently in Lisbon, Portugal.

This letter by Mother Godinho (and the explanation of it by Our Lady of the Roses) provides a missing link to the Third Secret puzzle. As was indicated by Louis Emrich concerning the Neues Europa version of the Third Secret:

“The most important part, the quintessence of the revelations of the Mother of God was unavailable to us. In this case it concerns words of the Holy Virgin predicting events which will take place at Rome and which will happen to the Vatican and the papacy at the dawn of day J, when humanity will be delivered to the divine chastisement.”

This “day J” was the year 1972, when satan began (and still continues) his massive onslaught against the Church and the papacy.  The Pope of 1972 was Pope Paul VI, the Pope of Jacinta’s visions (Read more…).  As Our Lady of the Roses has told us:

"Satan, Lucifer in human form, entered into Rome in the year 1972. He cut off the rule, the role of the Holy Father, Pope Paul VI. Lucifer has controlled Rome and continues this control now.
    "And I tell you now, My children, unless you pray and make My counsel known to all of the ruling fathers of the Eternal City of Rome, My Son's Church, His House, will be forced into the catacombs. A great struggle lies ahead for mankind. The eventual outcome is for good of all, for this trial in My Son's Church will be a true proving ground for all the faithful. Many latter-day saints shall rise out of the tribulation." - Our Lady, September 7, 1978

The deceptions that have been perpetrated in the Vatican since 1972 are almost beyond belief: the “deception of the century”, the murder of Pope John Paul I, a cardinal consorting with the devil that was within 5 votes of becoming elected Pope, and the latest deception, the June 26, 2000 forgery.

The Fatima experts need to wake up, stop going around in circles as they are now doing, and heed the counsel of Our Lady of the Roses. Only She will be able to lead us out of this thicket of deception surrounding the REAL Third Secret of Fatima.

"My child, they converse of the secret that I gave at Fatima. It is a simple explanation. It could not be fully revealed because of the drastic nature of My message. How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 13, 1978
