The Third Secret envelopes expose a Vatican forgery, and a Vatican lie that denied the release date of 1960

"How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son's Church." - Our Lady of the Roses, May 13, 1978  

 






 A forensic investigation into the document released by the Vatican on June 26, 2000 as the "third secret" pointed to a forgery (Read more..., Speckin report, page 1, Speckin report, page 2). Robert Kullman, the forensic expert who examined the handwriting in the Vatican document released in 2000, versus authentic letters of Sister Lucy, stated: "It is my opinion that the number of differences noted in my comparison indicates that it is unlikely the Questioned Document  'Third Secret' was written by the same person who authored the purported known writings of Sister Lucy."

Since this exposé by TLDM, we have found additional evidence of forgery. Thanks to the work of Christopher Ferrara in his book The Third Secret Still Hidden, we have photographs of the envelopes that enclosed the Third Secret of Fatima. This book contains screenshots from a May 31, 2007 interview of Cardinal Bertone, who displayed the Third Secret envelopes on the Italian TV show, Porta a Porta.

Sister Lucy is thought to have written down the Third Secret on January 2, 1944 when Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucy to strengthen her to carry out her bishop's order to write down the Third Secret. At the same time Sister Lucy wrote the Third Secret, she also wrote Our Lady's instructions on the inner envelope: "By express order of Our Lady, this envelope can only be opened in 1960 by the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon or the Bishop of Leiria." Circled in red in the picture above, the year "1960" is clearly visible.

Yet in the Vatican June 26, 2000 document, Cardinal Bertone had supposedly interviewed Sister Lucy and questioned her about the 1960 release date. Sister Lucy replied, "It was not Our Lady. I fixed the date..."

The Vatican has been caught red-handed in trying to deceive the world regarding the authentic release date of the Third Secret, which on order of the Blessed Virgin Mary was 1960. Efforts are being made to deflect attention away from the significance of the time period following 1960 and its relationship to the REAL Third Secret of Fatima. In 1955 Cardinal Ottaviani asked Sister Lucy why it was not to be opened before 1960. She told him, "because then it will seem clearer (mais claro)." (Read more)

What happened after 1960, that had such a major impact on the Catholic Church?

Sister Lucy's handwriting on the envelopes is the same, handwriting on the alleged "third secret" is different

Sister Lucy then enclosed that inner envelope into an outer envelope, designating that the Third Secret was for the Bishop of Leiria, the Bishop of Fatima.

So we have two writing samples from the envelopes. Circled in yellow (in two images of the Third Secret envelopes) is Sister Lucy's typical writing style, which is a print-style capital "S."

Yet the Vatican's version of the "third secret" only has a cursive-style capital "S". Please see a sampling of this cursive-style capital "S" demonstrated throughout the "third secret" document (scroll down to right column, Capital "S").

The handwriting on the envelopes do not match the handwriting in the alleged "third secret" document. But the handwriting on the envelopes do match known letters written by Sister Lucy, spanning a 62-year time span. All the same style.

Except when it came to the handwriting style in the Vatican's version of the "third secret."

There are numerous other problems in the alleged "third secret" text, as well as the commentary that accompanied the document released by the Vatican on June 26, 2000. 

Both Fr. Joaquin Alonso (the official archivist of Fatima) and Cardinal Oddi believed the authentic Third Secret of Fatima dealt with apostasy in the Church, and the failures of the upper hierarchy. In fact, Cardinal Mario Ciappi, the Papal Theologian, said in 1995, "In the Third Secret it is foretold, among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top."
